social issues.

By the end of the Middle Ages, we find that attitudes about religion, social issues, and women were changing. People started to question why things were the way they were. People wondered if the plague was truly the judgment of God on sinners, or was it a natural phenomenon that fell on the just and unjust alike. Women began to wonder why they didn’t have the same rights to education, wealth, and advancement that men had, with only an occasional exception. Are these questions still relevant today? Think about current diseases (AIDS is a good example) and the role of women in American society. What advances have we made in our thinking, or are we still in the same thought mode of the past? What are your thoughts?
