Literature Review

The first mini project requires you to perform a literature review on a topic of your interest. After you have identified your research topic, perform the following activities:
Locate three research articles in academic journals on your research topic.
Tip: Skim through abstracts to make sure that the articles will be useful to your topic; don`t just select the first articles you find!
Read the literature review section of each article. Pay attention to other research cited in that literature. Pay special attention to research cited in more than one article.
From each article, select one cited study that is the closest to your topic. Locate these three studies using the Ohio link (www.ohiolink.edu), if necessary.

Based on the literature you have read, develop a report on what these research articles cover about your topic.
Submission Guidelines

There is no recommended word limit for this assignment.
Include the following sections in your report:
1.A title page: In this section, mention the title of your research.
2.A Summary of Literature Review section: In this section, you should summarize in your own words, your findings about your research topic from the literature you reviewed the three research articles found in Step 1 of the assignment and the additional three studies you reviewed in the subsequent steps.
3.A References/Citations section: In this section, you should cite all six of the articles you reviewed.

The research topic for the paper is the correlation between what culinary schools teach versus what skills are used in the culinary field.
