The fifth paper requires you to compare T.S. Eliot’s “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock” to any song with lyrics. You will compare a theme in “Prufrock” with a theme from a song of your choosing, and you will use lines from the poem and lyrics from the song to support your comparison. This paper must be only a page long, but it still must adhere to everything I’ve talked about in class, including MLA conventions, argumentation, proper citations, and a good thesis statement.
