1. Go to the EPA PDF file overview on solid wastes which are not hazardous waste (exclusions). Find the file at: http://www.epa.gov/wastes/hazard/wastetypes/wasteid/pdfs/rcra2614b-ref.pdf
2. Pick one of the 17 excluded wastes that is of interest to you, or that you have some experience with, and research it.
3. Present the waste category to the class and provide justification why it is excluded, based on your research. Share your experience/knowledge about this waste category (resources are presented in the file).
